Havana Syndrome was supposed to be a problem for spies in Cuba and diplomats overseas. Now, according to investigative journalist Catherine Herridge, people walking their dogs outside Washington, D.C. say the first sign something is wrong is the dog “convulsing on the ground” — and in a couple of cases the dog “actually pulled the individual off what they call the X.”
Herridge told NewsNation’s “Katie Pavlich Tonight” that her reporting points to six new suspected cases being treated at Walter Reed, the military hospital with a center for traumatic brain injuries, and that a domestic cluster appears aimed at U.S. government personnel researching directed-energy weapons — in some cases “even reverse engineering the technology.” She said victims describe “two vehicles working in tandem, a small vehicle and then a larger sort of jeep-type SUV” that “triangulate” the target, adding that it “has the makings of what may be a cell” operating in the area while stressing, “I don’t want to get too far here.”
These are Herridge’s reported claims, not official findings; Walter Reed had not commented, and a 2023 U.S. intelligence assessment called a foreign adversary’s involvement in Havana Syndrome “very unlikely.” The @KatiePavlichNN clip has about 53,000 views on X and is embedded above.
